BALCONY WALL R5 & R35: Shall be fabricated using 1.315" O.D. 12 gauge steel tubing with welded 1.029" O.D. 14 gauge steel rungs and 3/8" thick steel tabs, and will have a multi-stage baked on powder coat finish. BALCONY WINDOW R5 & R35: Shall be made from 1/2" polycarbonate and is to be replaced if damaged or discolored or within 4 years. GLASS SUPPORT R5 & R35: Shall be fabricated using punched 12 gauge sheet steel and will have a multi-stage baked-on powder coat finish. FRICTION WHEEL BRACKETS: Shall be fabricated using 12 gauge sheet steel with a multi-stage baked-on powder coat finish. FRICTION WHEEL: Shall be machined from 1-1/2" round UHMW plastic. SPINNER DISC: Shall be made from high density 1" sheet plastic specially formulated for optimum UV stability and color retention. SPINNER HUB & SIGN: Shall be made from high density 3/4" sheet plastic specially formulated for optimum UV stability and color retention. SPINNER AXLE: Shall be machined from 1" round mild steel with a welded 1/4" steel plate and will have a multi-stage baked-on powder coat finish. SPINNER PLATE: Shall be punched from 10 gauge sheet steel and will have a multi-stage baked-on powder coat finish. MOUNTING BLOCKS: Shall be two-part and precision die-cast from a high strength aluminum alloy and will have a multi-stage baked-on powder coat finish. SOCKET CLAMPS: Shall be two-part and precision die-cast from a high strength aluminum alloy and will have a multi-stage baked-on powder coat finish. HARDWARE: Shall be stainless steel, zinc/nickel plated or galvanized as required to resist rust and corrosion. 1709 - Portal Slide The Slide Sections shall be constructed of UV-stabilized, rotationally molded, linear, low density polyethylene with an average wall thickness of .250". The Tube and Portal Slide Supports shall be an assembly with two components. The Leg shall be fabricated using 2.375" O.D. 10 gauge steel tubing and 1.660" O.D. 11 gauge steel tubing with welded 1/4", 3/16" thick steel caps, and 5/8" steel rod and will have a multi-stage baked-on powder coat finish as specified. The Bracket shall be fabricated using 1.660" O.D. 11 gauge steel tubing with welded 1/4" thick steel plate and will have a multi-stage baked-on powder coat finish as specified. The Twister Slide Supports shall be an assembly with two components. The Leg shall be fabricated using 1.660" O.D. 11 gauge steel tubing with welded 3/16" thick steel bracket and 5/8" steel rod and will have a multi-stage baked-on powder coat finish as specified. The Bracket shall be punched and formed from 3/16" thick steel and will have a multi-stage baked-on powder coat finish as specified. The Slide Leg shall be fabricated using 1.660" O.D. 11 gauge steel tubing with welded 10 gauge steel plate and will have a multi-stage baked-on powder coat finish as specified. R5 1602 - Panel Type 2 (HDPE) The Panel Type 2 HDPE shall be made from high density 3/4" sheet plastic specially formulated for optimum UV-stability and color retention. The Flat Panel Bracket shall be precision laser-cut from 3/16" sheet steel and will be Powder Coated as specified. The Mounting Lugs shall be precision die-cast from a high strength aluminum alloy and will be Powder Coated as specified. R5 1405 - Horizontal Ladder Curved The Horizontal Ladder Curved shall be fabricated from 2.375" O.D. 10 gauge tube steel support beams with 1.315" O.D. 12 gauge tube steel rungs uniformly spaced and welded in place. The Horizontal Ladder Curved will be Powder Coated as specified. R5 1309 - Half Wall (Handle) Assembly The Half Wall R5 shall be constructed of 1.315" O.D. 12 gauge tube steel outer rails with 1.029" O.D. 14 gauge tube steel welded vertically. The Half Wall may also have welded mounting tabs and/or plates and will be Powder Coated as specified. R5 1301 - Wall Steel Bars The Wall Steel Bars shall be fabricated using 1.029" O.D. 14 gauge tube steel welded vertically on 4" centers between vertical 1.315" O.D. 12 gauge tube steel balusters and horizontal 1.315" O.D. 12 gauge tube steel rails, top and bottom and will be Powder Coated as specified. R5-1208 - Ramp R5 The Ramp R5 shall be fabricated using 12 gauge sheet steel punched and formed with reinforcing cross members and gussets and shall be Play-Tuffâ„¢ coated after fabrication. The Rail Set R5 shall consist of a 1.660" O.D. 11 gauge top rail welded to 1/4" steel mounting clevises with 1.315" O.D. 12 gauge bottom rails, vertical rails and handrails. Handrails shall be attached to vertical rails with 1.029" O.D. 14 gauge handrail standoffs and will have a multi-stage baked-on powder coat finish. The Wall Set R5 shall consist of a 1.660" O.D. 11 gauge top rail welded to 1/4" steel mounting clevises with 1.315" O.D. 12 gauge bottom rails, vertical rails and handrails. Handrails shall be attached to vertical rails with 1.029" O.D. 14 gauge handrail standoffs. Vertical rungs shall be evenly spaced 1.029" O.D. 14 gauge steel tubing and will have a multi-stage baked-on powder coat finish. The Sensory Wall Set shall consist of 1.315" O.D. 11 gauge and 1.029" O.D. 14 gauge rails welded to 1/4" steel mounting clevises and tabs and will have a multi-stage baked-on powder coat finish. The Ramp Leg shall consist of 2.375" O.D. 11 gauge steel tubing welded to a 10 gauge steel mounting bracket and a 5/8" round steel footing anchor and will have a multi-stage baked-on powder coat finish. The Sensory Platform Insert shall be precision cut from 12 gauge sheet steel and will have a multi-stage baked-on powder coat finish. The Mounting Blocks shall be two-part and precision die-cast from a high strength aluminum alloy and will have a multi-stage baked-on powder coat finish. PC 2120 - Arch Swing Assembly R5 The Swing Arch & Swing Beam shall be fabricated using 5" O.D. 11 gauge galvanized steel tubing and will be Powder Coated as specified. The Arch Swing Casting and Arch Swing Washer shall be cast from a high-strength aluminum alloy and will be Powder Coated as specified. The Swing Chain shall be 7 mm (1/4") PC Grade 30 chain with a silver shield cold galvanized finish. The Swing Seats shall be molded from a UV-stabilized flexible rubber compound with slash-proof, reinforced metal inserts. 18013 - Steel Tri-Shade Roof The Steel Tri-Shade Roof shall be 14 gauge sheet steel welded to 1.315" O.D. 12 gauge steel frame and will be Powder Coated as specified. 1974 - Gyro-Pod Spinner The Gyro-Pod Capsule Leg shall be fabricated using 2.375" O.D. 10 gauge steel tubing with welded 1/4" x 1-1/2" flat steel reinforcement plates and stainless steel ball bearing and will be Powder Coated as specified. The Gyro-Capsule Top Frame shall be fabricated using 2.375" O.D. 11 gauge steel tubing with welded 1.900" O.D. 11 gauge steel supports, 1/4" thick stainless steel mounting brackets and stainless steel ball bearing and will be Powder Coated as finished. The Gyro-Pod Bearing Hub shall be fabricated using 2-1/4" O.D. machined steel hub with welded 1/4" thick steel plate and will be Powder Coated as specified. The Gyro-Pod Handrail shall be fabricated using 1.315" O.D. 12 gauge steel tubing with welded 1/4" thick steel mounting plates and will be Powder Coated as specified. The Gyro-Pod Tread Plate shall be made from punched 14 gauge sheet steel and shall be Play-Tuff(TM) coated after fabrication. The Gyro-Pod Ring Plate shall be made from precision cut 1/4" thick sheet steel and will be Powder Coated as specified. The Split Collar Half shall be made from precision cut and formed 1/4" thick stainless steel and will be Powder Coated as specified. 1803 STL - Steel Hex Roof The Steel Hex Roof Corner Bracket shall be formed from 10 gauge sheet steel and will be Powder Coated as specified. The Steel Hex Roof Section and Cap shall be formed from 14 gauge sheet steel and will be Powder Coated as specified. 1710 - Twister Slide The Twister Slide shall be manufactured from UV-stabilized LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) with an average wall thickness of 1/4". The Single Slide Leg shall be fabricated of 1.660" O.D. 11 gauge tube steel welded onto a 10 gauge steel plate and will be Powder Coated as specified. The Twister Slide Support shall be fabricated of 1.660" O.D. 11 gauge tube steel welded onto a 3/16" steel plate and will be Powder Coated as specified. 1708 - Tube Supports The Straight and Double Tube Support shall be fabricated of 1/4" plate steel with 1.660" O.D. 11 gauge tube steel welded to the base and will be Powder Coated as specified. The Inclined Tube Support shall be fabricated from 1.900" O.D. 11 gauge tube steel with a welded on 1.315" O.D. 11 gauge bent tube steel and will be Powder Coated as specified. The Tube Support Bracket shall be fabricated from 1/4" plate steel with a welded on 1.660" O.D. 11 gauge tube steel and will be Powder Coated as specified. 1702 - Double Slide The Double Slide Spacer shall be fabricated using punched and formed 12 gauge sheet Steel and shall be Play-Tuff(TM) coated after fabrication. The Mosaic Block shall be injection molded using a high durability plastic for optimum thermal and UV stability. The Mosaic Block Axel shall be cut from 0.75" O.D. 18 gauge steel tubing and will be Powder Coated as specified. The Panels, Retainers and Sliders shall be made from high density 3/4" sheet plastic specially formulated for optimum UV stability and color retention. The Mounting Insert shall be precision die-cast from a high strength aluminum alloy. 1400 - End Access Ladder The End Access Ladder shall be fabricated using 1.315" OD, 12 gauge steel tubing and will be Powder Coated as specified. The Socket Clamps shall be two-part and precision die-cast from a high strength aluminum alloy and will be Powder Coated as specified. 1261 - Ebb & Flow Climber The Ebb & Flow Climber Frame, and Platform Rail shall be fabricated using 1.900" O.D. 11 gauge steel tubing with welded 1/4" and 3/16" thick steel clevises and 1.900" steel mount plugs and will be Powder Coated as specified. The Ebb & Flow Anchor Brackets shall be fabricated using 1/4" thick stainless steel and will be Powder Coated as specified. The Ebb & Flow Horizontal Strut shall be fabricated using 1.900" O.D. 11 gauge steel tubing with welded 3/16" thick steel clevises and 1.900" steel mount plug pins and will be Powder Coated as specified. The Ebb & Flow Deck Plate shall be fabricated using 1/4" thick steel plating with welded 3/16" thick steel clevises and will be Powder Coated as specified. The Ebb & Flow Nets shall be made from 16mm steel-reinforced rope with high-strength copolymer plastic intersection connecters and machined aluminum ferrules. The Mounting Blocks shall be two-part and precision die-cast from a high strength aluminum alloy and will be Powder Coated as specified. The Grips are precision die-cast from a high strength aluminum alloy and have a thermal-set plastic coating. The Erector Rock Posts shall be 3.5" O.D. 11 gauge galvanized tube steel and will be Powder Coated as specified. 1209 - Transfer Station The Steps & Decks shall be fabricated from 12 gauge punched sheet steel with reinforcing cross members and gussets. Each Step and Deck shall be Play-Tuff(TM) coated after fabrication. The Step Rails shall be fabricated from 1.315" O.D. 12 gauge and 1.660" O.D. 11 gauge steel tubing and will be powder coated as specified. The Step Deck Legs shall be fabricated from 1.660" O.D. 11 gauge steel tubing welded to a 10 gauge mounting bracket. The Step Deck Leg will be Powder Coated as specified. 1206 - ADA Steps with Walls The ADA Steps shall be fabricated using 12 gauge punched steel with reinforcing cross members and gussets. All surfaces to be Play-Tuff(TM) coated. The ADA Step Walls shall be fabricated using 1.315" O.D. 12 gauge steel railing welded to 1.029" O.D. 14 gauge evenly spaced vertical rungs with welded 1/4" brackets and will be Powder Coated as specified. 1122 - Double Slide Deck Extension The Double Sit Down Extension Wall shall be fabricated using 1.315 O.D. 12 gauge steel tubing with welded 1.029 O.D. 14 gauge steel guard rails, slide insert, and 1/4" thick steel clevises and will be Powder Coated as specified.
